In each session, expert speakers shared knowledge and experience with association representatives. Participants had the opportunity to discuss best practices and solutions on issues such as corporate governance, financial sustainability, legal-administrative processes, advocacy and communication strategies.

In the period following the meeting, a 3-month mentoring process will be offered to our participating associations. During this process, comprehensive analyses will be conducted to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each association, followed by the preparation of tailor-made action plans. Through regular mentoring sessions, the organizational development of our associations will be closely monitored and their strategic skills will be strengthened.

With this work, we aim to contribute to the strengthening of patient-oriented policies and a more effective role of patient associations in the public eye. Our program is sponsored by Amgen, Boehringer Ingelheim and Takeda. We believe that this platform will create a long-term improvement in patient rights and advocacy activities.
