Our Association supported the project carried out by the Association for Evidence-Based Medicine (KDTD) to contribute to raising Turkey's health status.
Within the scope of the project, the Healthy Aging and Chronic Diseases Report was developed and the Healthy Aging Turkey Meeting was held in partnership with the Association for Evidence-Based Medicine and Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital.
With the Healthy Aging and Chronic Diseases Report, some of the steps being taken in our country to combat healthy aging and chronic diseases and areas for improvement were put forward.
The Healthy Aging Turkey Meeting was attended by 75 participants from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital, Ankara Occupational Diseases Hospital, Yıldırım Beyazıt University and Evidence Based Medicine Association, and topics such as the healthy state of the society, the concept of healthy aging, the measures taken in Turkey regarding the concept of healthy aging, the steps to be taken for the healthy aging of the population, the effects of the reimbursement system on the effective management of chronic diseases, and the developments of the perspective of healthy aging and effective chronic disease management in the Turkish Health and Insurance System were discussed.
