After graduating from Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Can Çiftçi became interested in obesity and inflammatory diseases in the clinic and then became interested in functional medicine when he started his doctorate in physiology.

The author of Ketofasting and A ghost disease: Dr. Can Çiftçi is the author of the books titled Lyme and works mainly in the field of special nutritional protocols, intermittent fasting, low/very low carbohydrate diets, tick-borne diseases, endocrine and aging physiology.
