- Deputy Chief Physician of the Faculty from 2012 to 2014,
- Istanbul Provincial Director of Public Health from 2014 to 2016
- In 2016, he assumed the position of Vice President of the Public Health Agency of Turkey (THSK);
He is one of the main architects of healthy living policies in Turkey. In the primary care system in Istanbul, where more than 4 thousand family physicians work, he has made key contributions to the rapid reflection of current scientific knowledge on preventive healthcare practices under his leadership, and pioneered the spread of exercise-based chronic disease prevention programs. During his tenure, he assumed critical responsibility for the design and implementation of "Healthy Living Centers" across the country, coordinated national programs in which family physicians and physical education teachers were trained in exercise prescription and school children were given "physical activity fitness report cards".
In academia, he teaches epidemiology, immunization strategies, disaster health and occupational health, and conducts numerous research and education projects focusing on exercise, movement, obesity and cardiovascular disease. Promoting a culture of active living with her executive vision and academic productivity, Prof. Dr. G. Nurhan İnce is one of the country's leading public health leaders in the fight against chronic diseases.
