Survey on Cigarette Use and Quitting Trends - December 2025
The Study on Smoking Behavior and Quitting Trends was designed to comprehensively assess smoking behaviors, levels of dependence, quitting attempts, and the key factors driving continued smoking in Turkey. The study presents important findings regarding participants’ sociodemographic characteristics, smoking habits, indicators of dependence, motivations for quitting, and the difficulties encountered during the quitting process.
The report also examines in detail the psychological, social, and environmental factors influencing cigarette use, as well as the factors that support or hinder cessation behavior.
